Final Update Post Picture.jpg

Final update on the 25-25-25 Fundraiser:

My deepest gratitude extends to everyone who contributed to the 25-25-25 Fundraiser and supported the journey - whether directly or indirectly - to broadening the impact of the mission of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. World Kindness Day 2020 (Nov. 13) gained a deeper meaning in my life, and I will be forever grateful.

Between Facebook and GoFundMe, $595 were generously raised so far to support AFSP and their mission. All proceeds went/go directly to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), and donations will remain open to both pages; please consider donating to this cause (if you can), learning about its mission, or checking out the results of the 25-25-25 journey via the links below:

The 25-25-25 Journey:

The journey has been one of lessons, reflections, gratitude, discomfort (physical and mental), peace, love, and new beginnings.

Dreams over doubts. Love over fear. Kindness over indifference.

Until next time, stay healthy, safe, and well.

Sending peace, love, and good vibes your way.

Update (11-13-2020):

The fundraiser is still up and running if you’d like to donate! All proceeds go directly to AFSP.

21.3 miles of walking - didn’t make it the full 25 miles. Unfortunately, my pace slowed greatly at around mile 16, and my legs seized up at 21 miles.

Got a ride from Dad and 21.3 reasons to be content.

I’m bummed I didn’t make it all the way - lesson learned about training and seeking discomfort - but I’m SUPER grateful for all the love, support, and meaningful donations to the cause.

It means the world to me and countless others.

It was a miserable, then nice, then slow kind of day, but it was well worth it.

Happy World Kindness Day!

Be kind to one another.

Sending peace, love, and good vibes.
